Founded on a wave of rhythmic and visual creativity, the Atypic Groove company breathes a festive and unconventional spirit into the world of street performance. Based in Crest, we travel through towns, villages, and festivals with infectious energy and a strong taste for originality.
Through our musical shows, we blend catchy percussion, bright costumes and colorful characters to take young and old on a journey into worlds that are sometimes wacky, sometimes poetic.
Atypic Groove is a clever mix of live music, dynamic walkabouts and moments of sharing, designed to make public spaces vibrate and liven up your events.

Our creations are primarily designed for the street and open spaces, but they easily adapt to all kinds of configurations: Christmas markets, village festivals, carnivals, summer events, cultural programs, resort events…
Some shows like Cosmic Show are specifically designed for the end-of-year period, while others, more flowery or festive, find their perfect place in the middle of summer or during urban parades.

Our artistic language is based on a solid foundation of live percussion, enriched according to the formulas of dance, stilt walkers, jugglers or luminous and scenographic elements.
Our shows are not traditional theatre or circus, but they playfully engage with their conventions through a fun and sensory approach. Each performance offers an immersive experience in a distinct visual world, brought to life by artists embodying eccentric and engaging characters.

All our shows are designed for a fluid, festive and mobile promenade, while offering an adaptable structure that also allows for fixed moments or occasional stationary entertainment.
They come to life outdoors, in public spaces, during the day and in the evening, but can also be installed indoors provided there is a suitable space (gallery, hall, covered market, etc.).

Our catalogue includes five main creations with strong identities: Cosmic Show, The Power Flower, Shells and Crustaceans, Ultra Violet Percussions and La Charette à Fifi.
Each show has its own atmosphere, visual aesthetic and musical rhythm, thus offering a range of possibilities depending on the season, the audience or the theme of the event.

Customization options / tailor-made shows. Each project is unique, which is why we offer flexible packages to suit your needs and constraints.
From 5 to 15 artists can make up your event: percussionists, dancers, stilt walkers, DJs or balloon sculptors, depending on the shows and options chosen.

We perform regularly throughout France: from Paris to Avignon, via Lyon, Chamonix, Saint-Étienne, La Ciotat and Val d'Isère. Our approach is decidedly itinerant, but it is also rooted locally in the Drôme and surrounding regions thanks to strong partnerships.
Each performance is an opportunity to highlight a team of committed, versatile and passionate artists, who proudly represent the spirit of celebration and live entertainment.
